With a over a decade of experience in the creative marketplace, I can offer you creative concepting and strategy building to designing marketing collateral and identity systems. I also have extensive experience with interactive campaigns and multimedia projects.
Currently, I am an art director for the Interactive Practice Area at CRT/tanaka, an award-winning public relations and marketing firm. I have worked as a lead designer and art director for various small agencies in Richmond, Va., and previously served as an adjunct faculty member for Virginia Commonwealth University, where I taught a variety of multimedia courses within the Communication Arts program. I also work as a freelance illustrator and designer for organizations and publications across the country and have won first place awards from the AIGA and North American Mature Publishers Association.
In addition, I have been involved with a number of non-profit organizations. I currently serve as a marketing committee member for Richmond’s Freedom House., which offers assistance to the homeless in the Richmond area. I have also volunteered or been a registered member of organizations such as the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, AIGA, The Graphic Artist Guild, The Richmond Illustrators Club, The Richmond Ad Club and the Children’s Hospital of Richmond, Va.
